This is a reminder to my fellow U.S.-educated academics: If you have federal loans, and you've ever, EVER worked full-time hours in public universities or agencies, get in on the public service loan forgiveness program. And your adjuncting hours *Do Count* as long as they total up to more than 30 hours a week.

One tip I have is that you should definitely submit as much as you possibly can through the automated online portal, but also talk to a human being to follow up. All the luck I've had has come from a human person understanding nuances that the automated system simply is not capable of parsing.
