Gonna lose part of my day listening to a lawyer arguing on behalf of rich, white men getting to decide when their daughters can have an abortion while making absolutely sure that no other class gets to make the decision.

This thanksgiving has been good for food, but I don't really miss the effect of sweets on my body.

Do not let those liars spin this yarn to you or make this about the "mainstream media" sticking with their narrative. The Andrew Coffee case is another Breonna Taylor, not some evidence that racism is dead and gone.

I think some people out there are trying to claim that this case in some way exonerates the accusations of racism in Rittenhouse's trial, but other than sharing the same defense, these cases have nothing in common. This is what we're talking about when we say systemic racism and what you guys should be talking about when you talk about the deep state.

When Republicans say they don't want to teach something because it creates a "victim mentality" they frame this as if it's good for the victim. What they really mean is that they don't want victims to know that they have been wronged so that they don't seek justice. What they don't want is accountability for their crimes, which a person who knows they've been a victim would naturally seek.

Said a different way they don't want the victims to demand their stolen property back.

Said a different way they don't want the rapist prosecuted for their crimes.

They want silent, ignorant victims so they can violate them again and again without accountability.
