Had a great time with Lancer last night. I decided to run a much weirder ending to the arc. Everybody seemed to be far more onboard with that.
I think I finally properly integrated two things that are important with me:
People seem to like my over-the-top characters and villains better than my subtle stuff.
Kids like weirder stories with more action whether or not the action makes complete sense.
At one point I active had the enemy rewind time to avoid the smarter plan one of the adults came up with so we could have the weirder one with more action.
We come here in search of a place to express our thoughts outside of the direct control and surveillance of unaccountable, mega-corporations. There is no common theme that binds us other than these being the bonds we've chosen rather than those that have been chosen for us.
